Renew Proudly Supports Military Members and Veterans by Giving a Local Hero a New Smile!
Renew Anchored Dentures has partnered with a local veterans’ organization to help a deserving local veteran eat and smile with confidence. Today, we are giving “Smile Freedom” back to a Veteran who fought for our nation’s freedom. His name is David Garcia.
David served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the crumbling of the Berlin Wall. When asked to do his duty for our country and he was first in line to sign up.
David had problems with his teeth before he deployed and was asked to have them extracted but he didn’t want to lose his teeth. Since his military days, his smile has gotten worse and, today at the young age of 77, he just can’t eat or smile anymore.
When we told David that he was finally going to have his dreams answered and get a Renew Anchored Smile, he hugged Renew staffers present at the announcement.
The Renew surgeon who will be performing his surgery is also a veteran. Dr. Matthew Phillips, a 10-year Army veteran, was deployed to Iraq in 2007-2009.
Dr. Phillips served his country in other places such as Korea, for the NSA at Fort George G. Meade, and in Hawaii. Dr. Phillips has successfully completed thousands of implant cases.
Dr. Phillips is so excited to do something good for a fellow Vet. We thank them both for their service. It is a Red, White and Blue Day here at Renew.
