Town residents can register for the QC Recycles event at QueenCreekAZ.gov/RecycleEvents. Those who register by Monday, April 21 will receive a Fast Pass via email 48 hours before the event to get through the event as quickly as possible.

The acquisition will soon bring a new Mountainside Fitness health club to Queen Creek, Arizona, a community recently ranked as the third fastest-growing large city in the United States.

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Mountainside Fitness currently operates 21 high-end health clubs across metro Phoenix, serving more than 150,000 members. Its new Queen Creek location will sit at the northwest corner of Combs and Gantzel roads, sharing an intersection with Target, Sprouts, Frys and numerous nationally recognized quick serve restaurants.
The site is bookended by two educational campuses, American Leadership Academy Ironwood and Combs Traditional Academy, with more than 131,000 residents within a five-mile radius.
“Queen Creek is the perfect location for us to do what we do best, which is to support the health and wellness of metro Phoenix’s growing population with an outstanding health club environment at an affordable price,” said Mountainside Fitness CEO Craig Cote. “We’ve been doing this successfully for almost 35 years and will continue that tradition as we add Queen Creek and the San Tan Valley to our Mountainside family.”
Totalling approximately 42,000 square feet in a single story, the Queen Creek Mountainside Fitness will offer state-of-the-art equipment and more than 70 daily group fitness classes, with on-site amenities including high-end locker rooms and an elevated childcare program. This is the latest location announcement by Mountainside Fitness, which is adding multiple new facilities now under construction and slated to open throughout Arizona in the near future.
The Queen Creek Mountainside Fitness is scheduled to open in December 2025.
JLL Managing Director Regan Amato represented Mountainside Fitness in its Queen Creek land acquisition. Rommie Mojahed of CRE8Advisors represented the land seller.

QUEEN CREEK, ARIZ. — Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Mountainside Fitness has purchased a land parcel at the northwest corner of Combs and Gantzel roads in Queen Creek for the development of a new fitness club location. Slated to open in December 2025, the single-story, 42,000-square-foot Queen Creek Mountainside Fitness offer state-of-the-art equipment and more than 70 daily group fitness classes, as well as locker rooms and a childcare program. Mountainside Fitness currently operates 21 high-end clubs across metro Phoenix. Regan Amato of JLL represented Mountainside Fitness, while Rommie Mojahed of CRE8Advisors represented the undisclosed seller in the deal.
SACRAMENTO, CALIF.— Alta Senior Living has acquired a 162-unit seniors housing community located in Sacramento. Alta purchased the property with joint venture partner Brasa Capital Management. Formerly known as The Village at Heritage Park, the property will be rebranded as Rose Arbor Village. Built in 2017, the community features independent living, assisted living and memory care residences. Alta plans to implement a repositioning strategy that includes upgrading amenities, strategic lease-up initiatives and enhancing resident engagement.

SPANISH FORK, UTAH — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of RightSpace Storage, a self-storage facility in Spanish Fork. Charles LeClaire and Adam Schlosser of The LeClaire-Schlosser Group of Marcus & Millichap, along with Jordan Farrer of Marcus & Millichap, represented the seller and secured the New York-based buyer. Terms of the transaction were not released.
Situated on 5.1 acres, RightSpace Storage offers 364 units and 47,900 net rentable square feet. Built in 2001, the property contains four single-story self-storage buildings with 313 outdoor drive-up units and 49 surface parking spaces. The facility also features a gated entry with digital keypad, a freestanding building with leasing office and onsite manager quarters, 24/7 video surveillance, asphalt driveways and units with metal roll-up doors.
