Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Bernard Schayes received his medical degree from the University of Bucharest. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Nassau County Medical Center in New York. With more than 30 years in private practice, Dr. Schayes focuses on lifestyle management, wellness, and anti-aging. He has treated thousands of patients with a wide range of chronic health conditions. As Renew Smiles’ Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Schayes is responsible for patients’ medical health and medical clearances, helping to ensure a safe and comfortable surgical experience for every patient Renew Smiles has the privilege of serving.
William L. Balanoff, DDS, MS
Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Balanoff graduated from Northwestern University and received his post-doctoral Masters in cranio-facial research with an emphasis on Prosthodontics. Dr. Balanoff is published with numerous US and international patents. He has been an adjunct professor at many universities in the US. Dr. Balanoff’s research on Tourette Syndrome was featured on CBS’s “The Doctors” Show. Dr. Balanoff has worked with countries around the world improving dental care and early screening for oral cancer. He was in practice for 27 years before joining Dr. Miloni at ClearChoice. He has provided implant dentistry for patients worldwide since 1986. As Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Balanoff works with Renew Smiles Doctor and Clinical teams to provide coaching, education, and support for Renew’s proprietary system and processes.
